blog-10

Friday I celebrated my one year blogaversary! I can NOT believe it’s been a year already! Honestly, I wanted to start a blog because I wanted to make friends and connect with people. I wanted to be a part of something that I could be inspired by and inspire others along the way. The blogging community is a place I’m so happy to be a part of. I love encouraging and lifting my fellow bloggers up and I’m so happy that I received that in return! Looking back at this last year I’m grateful for all the people I have connected with and couldn’t be happier with my progress! I told everyone when I started that I didn’t care if I only had ten followers, I would be so thankful for those ten people. I started this for me and it has allowed me to put more of myself out there than I ever imagined.  It has lifted me up and made me feel so much better about all aspects of my life! I am so thankful for you all!

This Romwe dress is seriously so gorgeous!!! The lace detail is just beautiful and I couldn’t be happier with it! I did order a medium so it would be a little longer and it fits great so if you are torn between sizing I would recommend sizing up! I love the sleeves, they get a little wider at the wrists giving a bell sleeve look! The best part… this dress is $15!!! I know, insane! It is perfect for any festivities this spring season, especially for any brides having showers this year!

Thank you all again for all the love and support!  It means the world to me!  Here is to year number 2!  Can’t wait to see what it has in store for Looks Like Rein!

So, I know I’m way past the prom age!  Don’t hate. 🙂 I just had to post about my Frock and Frill dress since prom is coming up and their dresses are so gorgeous and unique! When I think prom dresses I think of crazy colors, super busy designs, and beading. I didn’t even go to prom, but I had already purchased a dress and it was very simple and elegant! When I saw this dress I thought, this is something I would have LOVED to wear to prom!!! It’s simple, elegant, flattering, and has just the right amount of sparkle! Girls, if you have the same classy want in a dress for prom you have to check out Frock and Frill!! Their dresses are so unique, you will stand out in the best way! Most of them have gorgeous beading with so many different styles to choose from! I am wearing a UK size 8 which I think equals a US size 4.

For anyone that isn’t going to prom- if you have a special occasion coming up or are even looking for bridesmaid dresses I highly recommend checking them out! After wearing this one and seeing the amazing quality I kind of wish I would have ordered a wedding dress from them!

CASUAL SPRING OUTFIT

Ok. This is seriously the first sunny day in so so long! This was the end of a ten day rain streak!! I have been struggling to cope with all this gloominess, I’m craving spring weather so bad! This is my idea of the perfect casual spring outfit!

Today is the day I was finally able to wear these Mari. A shoes! These gladiator fringe sandals are so on trend right now and I couldn’t be happier! I love the chunky heel for when I want some height while still having the casual look of a sandal. These are also a great choice if you aren’t big on the tall gladiator sandals that go up your leg. They have the same look without worrying if they will fit right on your calves. I love the fringe detail too! Who doesn’t love fringe?!

My top is from Romwe, and I actually really love the way it fits me! It was windy and I was moving a lot so you’ll have to excuse all the bunching and wrinkling it has going on! 😉 The material is very linen like and doesn’t have any stretch so if your’re picky on material you might not like it. It’s not a high end piece, I just really liked the thin vertical stripes and think its something I’ll re-wear a lot for a casual spring outfit!
