This month has just flown by! I can’t believe Christmas is 9 days away! I wish it was longer, I have so many Christmas movies I still want to watch! I know I’m going to mourn the end of the holidays for a whole week when it’s over. The hubby and I watched Home Alone 2 tonight, I’ve seen it so many times yet it never gets old! I’ve never gotten sick of re-watching movies I love! When I was a kid my siblings and I watched our favorite movies over and over and over again. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve seen Dumb and Dumber.

I’ve really been pushing the Christmas music on Porter this year. I try and make it seem really cool and fun in my most excited voice like, “Don’t you want to listen to Christmas music?!!!?” It’s definitely working.

Adding a sequin piece to an outfit is the easiest way to create a chic yet festive look.

A sequin skirt like this is perfect if you want to keep the sparkle subtle instead of going all out. It would be great for any Christmas parties and even for a New Years Eve party! You can amp up the fancy by changing the top, shoes, or bag too! Opting for a light flirty top will transform this outfit into party mode!

What is your favorite item to wear for the holidays?

Hope everyone had a great weekend! It has been so freezing here! We are getting a ton of rain lately, true PNW style! Remember when I said I painted all of the upstairs landing area?? Well, John had to paint the part close to the ceiling and above the stairs because I am super scared of heights, but when I went to buy more paint I bought a different finish!! The first can was flat and the second was satin! So, now I have to paint over everything with the satin 🙁 The satin is a better quality of finish so at least it will be easier to clean! Don’t know why I ever bought flat to begin with! Sunday we took a trip to Bed Bath and Beyond to get a cabinet for our bathroom and it’s perfect! Our bathroom is finally done, thank goodness!

I love all of my fall wardrobe colors but pastels and neutrals are just so refreshing for fall!

I wanted to give everyone a different idea of what you can pair with a faux fur vest! This vest is so great for how affordable it is! This would be a great look, if you are a neutral lover (like me) to wear to a holiday party or family gathering. That whole “no white after Labor Day” rule is a bunch of nonsense! I am a wearer of white all year round! Also, these heals are a great dupe for the Valentino rock stud pumps!

Hope you all have a great day!
