How was everyone’s Christmas?! Ours was so great! I’m so sad it’s over though. I had to work on Christmas Eve and even though we had a nice work party I was so sad to leave John and Porter 🙁 I also had to work on Christmas, but I was so thankful I didn’t have to be there till 4pm! Leaving was still hard, but so glad I had the morning with my family! Did anyone else have to work on Christmas Eve or Christmas?

I loved seeing Porter’s face opening all his presents he was so excited! We got him a big Buzz Lightyear (he’s obsessed), and he has to take him everywhere! Even to bed, :)!  The weather here has been so awful! Dark, rainy, windy! It has made trying to take pictures really hard! The only day that was sunny was on Christmas!

I love this burgundy jacket from Shein!!

I love this burgundy jacket from Shein!! I’ve been wanting a burgundy jacket so I was so excited when I found it! This jacket is faux leather, but it’s so soft and comfortable. I ordered mine in a small and it’s perfect! I love the ribbed detail on the sleeves and the fact that it has zippers on the wrists. I have a little obsession with moto/leather jackets so I’m excited to be adding to my collection!

Shein is having some major sales going on right now so make sure to check the sale section out as well! My Rebecca Minkoff tote is on sale in 3 colors! I just got mine and I love it!

This month has just flown by! I can’t believe Christmas is 9 days away! I wish it was longer, I have so many Christmas movies I still want to watch! I know I’m going to mourn the end of the holidays for a whole week when it’s over. The hubby and I watched Home Alone 2 tonight, I’ve seen it so many times yet it never gets old! I’ve never gotten sick of re-watching movies I love! When I was a kid my siblings and I watched our favorite movies over and over and over again. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve seen Dumb and Dumber.

I’ve really been pushing the Christmas music on Porter this year. I try and make it seem really cool and fun in my most excited voice like, “Don’t you want to listen to Christmas music?!!!?” It’s definitely working.

Adding a sequin piece to an outfit is the easiest way to create a chic yet festive look.

A sequin skirt like this is perfect if you want to keep the sparkle subtle instead of going all out. It would be great for any Christmas parties and even for a New Years Eve party! You can amp up the fancy by changing the top, shoes, or bag too! Opting for a light flirty top will transform this outfit into party mode!

What is your favorite item to wear for the holidays?

I have been sick for a little over a week now and it sucks! No one around me has been sick, it snuck right up on me. I haven’t been to CrossFit all week, I feel like I’ve missed out on so much. You know when you missed a day of school and something crazy happened?? Like, a fight broke out or Beyonce showed up. Even though I know nothing like that has happened, that’s how I feel!

Is everyone ready for Christmas?! I pretty much have everyone done except some stocking stuffer items and some wrapping! I think the tree I picked out this year is my favorite by far! It’s the perfect height, fullness, and smells amazing! We’ve had the same ornaments for the last 3 years and I love them, we’ve slowly collected new ornaments since having Porter. I just love the silver/white/neutral tones! Maybe next year I’ll feel like venturing out… Maybe.

If you are looking for a gift for someone who is hard to shop for then Happy Socks are the best!!! Who doesn’t love socks?! They have an amazing selection and there is something for everyone! I got some athletic ones that are great if you have someone who likes to workout in cool socks (my brother) and some fun polka dot and striped ones that are perfect for gift exchanges or stocking stuffers! Their website has more than just socks too! Notebooks, watches, underwear, phone cases, etc. So make sure to check them out! Until December 31st if you use code ‘LOOKSLIKEREIN’ at checkout you’ll get 15% off and free shipping!

P.S. Do you see how my husband wraps presents? hahahah 😉

I have been so, so, sore from CrossFit this week! Curling my hair this morning felt like a workout in itself! I kept trying to find new ways to be able to rest my arms, while still trying to keep my hair wrapped around the barrel, while trying not to burn myself! I was a mess! My brother, Porter and I went to Costco, we’re obsessed with Costco! I love everything about it except for how easy it is to spend way to much money there! I also had to go get a new brush head for my Clarisonic and oh man, I wish I never would have stepped foot in Sephora! They have all the gift sets out for Christmas!!! It’s a good thing I was on a time crunch because I could have done some major damage in there!

This Shabby Apple Proffesor Hill Dress was so perfect for running our errands today!

I was in pure comfort! I seriously felt like I was in Pajamas! We were in a huge hurry because my brother had to be to work so we were only gone a couple of hours, but I could have gone all day in this outfit! I had no want or need to take it off! They have almost identical dresses as this one and they come in burgundy, gray, navy, and an orange/red color. After wearing this one I need all the colors! John says need is a strong word, I say, no way! Shabby Apple’s clothes are such great quality and they have an awesome range of different styles! Everyone can find something they love! I will be hosting a GIVEAWAY with Shabby Apple soon, so be on the look out!  Check them out if you haven’t already!

Hope everyone is having a great week so far!
